This happens especially if the document is set to read in either print view, or full screen reading layout view. In fact, with the latter view, JAWS says it doesn't support this view.

Subject: Reading document in MS Office Word 2010

Dear All,

I am having a problem with reading documents in Office 2010.

Generally I read through documents line by line, continually pressing
the down arrow key. I am finding that on occasion JAWS does not read
the lines properly. Sometimes it will read part of the line and when I
press the arrow key to go to the next line, it simply repeats the
previous line (or part of) again.

This can get annoying if I'm reading a particularly long document. The
only way I can seem to remedy it is by pressing the up arrow key and
then the down arrow one a few times. It is like JAWS is losing focus or
the focus is not being directed properly.

Would anyone have any suggestions for how I could fix this? I hope I
have explained it well enough.

I am using JAWS V 11, Windows XP and Office 2010. Perhaps I need to
upgrade to JAWS V 12 while using Office 2010?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Claire.
