Now that last one worked as advertised, and is a little easier on the
hands to boot. It's not perfect. A perfect solution would move from
column to column, reading each one in turn--maybe next release--but it's
good.

Well it works for me! With my cursor positioned anywhare in the table
column I want to read alt+Insert+c reads the whole column out as does
shift+insert+Pagedown.

That's what it says, all right, but it doesn't work. It may give the
column number, then when you release the keys, the context menu opens.

This key combination doesn't work on my system but having read through
the Jaws Word help, the alt+Insert+c key combination seems to do the
trick.

I have a related question. Most of the time JFW reads tables pretty
well these days. However, there are those rare times when, for the sake
of continuity. I need to read a table a column at a time--newspaper
style. Is there an easy way to do this in JFW?

Ron
The best way to ensure alignment of columns in Word is to use a
table. This creates a series of 'cells' which you can type data into
and Jaws will give you feedback as to the row and column number
containing the data.
