Unfortunately there are no newer keystrokes I can tell you, but I suggest to try jaws 9 demo and see if you still have problems moving to the desired place.

Also, do you have columns in the text?

Subject: ReStill Facing Text reading issues

Hi List,
I hate to continue bothering, and I got some good answers last time. However, I am still having trouble reading text in order to edit my manuscript more efficiently.

I know this seems incredible, but I used to get to the beginning of a line and/or sentence quite easily, but it just seems more difficult now. The problem is that when I find a keystroke that works, for some reason it doesn't work the next time I boot up.

If anyone could give me keystrokes that are infallible, especially for finding the beginning of a line and, especially, the beginning of a sentence. Judy, you gave me a good one for the beginning of a line, the button in the six-pack, but I am looking for beginning of sentence. Often when I hit Alt+down arrow, it will bring me to beginning of paragraph, and sometimes it will bring me to beginning of a sentence. I am starting to get sore in my my right index finger by constantly arrowing over to right to find word that I want my curser on. As I said before, I have been pretty good with computer for past ten years, but this is troubling me. Thanks for any help. Again, using Jaws 8.0 with Windows XP. I keep hearing Jaws say 'normal view'
