Terri,
While in the list view of your messages in the inbox bring up your tools
menu and select options (alt+t,o,enter. Now do a control+tab until you are
on the read page. Now tab to the choices presented to you. Be sure to have
the preview pane closed by checking that none of the messages can be
previewed in this pane.
