If you get a laptop be ready for it to break, especially if you actually move around with it a bunch. Unless you need a computer on the go I would really suggest you stick with desktops, they are simply far more reliably built. I've had three laptops (two HP and one Fujitsu)break within 18mo of purchase and talking with people my experience is not unique, it's just the price you pay for low weight, long battery life and relatively low cost.
