My understanding is that SAS is a Quantitative software package. I am
looking for qualitative data analysis accessibility. I pulled the following
from a Web site:

You've probably heard of software packages such as SPSS, SAS and MiniTab
that are used for analyzing quantitative data. But, what do we do when our
data consists of hundreds of pages of text and images? Researchers can
choose to use qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo, Atlas.ti,
HyperResearch and MAXqda.

Anyone have any experience with NVivo, Atlas.ti, HyperResearch, or MAXqda
with JAWS?

Kevin,

I've not used the program you are asking about but I can tell you that SAS
works fine with Jaws. I went all the way through the Ph.D. program at the
University of Oklahoma using it with no problems. It will do absolutely
anything and SAS provided me with all the documentation -- volumes and
volumes -- in accessible format.

HOpe this helps a bit,

Karen

Subject: Qualitative Data Analysis Program

I am working with a student who is using Jaws and she wants to use a
Qualitative Data Analysis Program such as Atlas.ti. Does anyone know
whether Atlas.ti or a similar program works with JAWS?

Thank you in advance,

Kevin
