Morne. You would get better results and control with another media player such as Winamp. However, the way to move around a file in Windows Media Player is this...
Use the Jaws hot key ctrl+alt+l to focus the "now playing list". Then tab till you find the seak left right slider. You can use arrow keys to move forward and back within a file. But, you only move in large jumps so it isn't to good for your purpose.

I went through the short cuts for Windows Mediaplayer. I am typing interviews and they are recorded as .wav files. But how do I rewind and fast forward within a track? I can find the farward, but I get the message that the rewind is unavailable. -- -Morné van der Merwe Posbus/PO Box/Posxtkesto 2036 Dennesig Stellenbosch 7601 Suid-Afrika/South Africa/Sudafriko Selfoon/Cell phone/Mobiltelefono: +27 (0)72-119-4488 E-pos/E mail/Retadreso: mvdm13@xxxxxxxxx "When your dreams turn to dust, vacuum. -Anonymous-" -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.com
