Dave,
There is no option for specifying how long you want to suspend receiving
emails from the JFW list, nor can you suspend emails from the list by
sending a message to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
You can temporarily suspend email from the list by doing the following:
1. Send a message to: jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx which contains the following
text in the subject field:
set jfw vacation
You do not need to put anything in the message body; just send it, and you
will get an automated reply confirming your request.
2. When you are ready to start receiving JFW list emails again, send another
message to:
jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
and in the subject field put the following text:
unset jfw vacation
You will get a confirmation after sending this request, and your JFW list
emails will resume. That's all there is to it.
