Purchase Sound Forge economically?

Hey, Guys!
First, you guys are great! Secondly, I have a friend that sent me a MP3
of her voice, and I thought it was really cool, so upon inquiring, she told
me that she used Sound Forge 7. I was amazed at the prices of the new Sound
Forge 8, and wondered where to purchase Sound Forge economically, if
possible... the version does not matter to me, as long as there are scripts
available. Obviously, later versions would be preferable. Thanks in
advance!
