Thanks, Chris. This does help, a lot. I've done some programming in Basic, in an interface that was not terribly accessible, so it sounds like I'll enjoy Visual Studio. Guess I'll go grab the VB.Net book from Murach and see what happens. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Hallsworth Sent: Sunday, August 03, 2008 11:17 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Programming in VB .Net with JAWS Hi, to me VB.Net is the most accessible programming language out there. On the whole Visual Studio is, but VB.Net which is part of Visual Studio is an easy to learn language (the "basic" gives it away), the programmes can be made to work well with screen readers, and the IDE you use, Visual Studio, is fully accessible, especially with the JAWS scripts. Hope this helps. -- Chris Hallsworth Derbyshire, UK E-mail christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype chrishallsworth7266 Website http://www.chrishallsworth.co.nr Klango chrishallsworth FTP ftp://chrishallsworth.dyndns.org ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lora" <loravara@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, August 03, 2008 6:08 PM Subject: Programming in VB .Net with JAWS > Hi, > > I've been programming on our mainframe for some time now.
