Hi,

I think you need to find out the name of the server from your own ISP that
handles newsgroups. For example, mine is news.townisp.com

Subject: Problems Setting Up News Groups In Outlook Express

Hi.
I wanted to set up news groups outlook express.
i wanted the borland news groups at http://newsgroups.borland.com i tried to
set it up, put in my name, e-mail address and the name of the news group
server.
clicked finish.
then clicked on yes to download the list of news groups on the server.
got the message that the server could not connect to this server.
said the server was unavailable.
tried this about another 8 times, but gave up in the end. and removed it.
if anyone has had similar problems, then please let me know how to get this
service to work in outlook express.
i am using jaws 5.0.844, windows 2000, version 5.5, service pack 2.
it is very frustrating.
as i want to subscribe to the public.jbuilder.ide to ask if j builder is
accessable with jaws.
also connect to the public.cbuilder news group.
Marvin.
