Pat,

It could be that you've got a pop-;upp blocker running, and it's preventing
that sort of page from opening because it perceives it as a pop-up.

If so, no need to disable or uninstall the pop-up blocker. Usually there's
a key command for allowing a page like this, or even a pop-up you know you
want to see, to open. Just press either the control key or the shift key at
the same time as you press Enter.

Now, if this isn't your problem, that won't help. But it often helps me
when I click on a link of that sort and hear the telltale click that
announces that the pop-up blocker has stopped it.

Subject: Problem opening URLs that open a new window

I am using Jaws 6.0 and Windows XP. When I hit enter on a URL that opens
a new page it does nothing. When I right click and choose open it then
opens but sometimes I get nothing with the PC cursor but can read some
with Jaws cursor-- these are pages that previously worked--any advice?
