This happens to me occasionally. For some reason JAWS forgets who I am and uses the default dictionary instead of the one that is linked to my user settings. What I do is to copy the relevant dictionary file from my personal ENU folder to the Shared ENU folder. Some time ago, I created an entry in my JAWS 9 Dictionary Manager for Outlook Express to replace the ">" symblo with a space so that JAWS would not speak all those annoying > synbols in my email messages. This worked like a charm, until today when JAWS suddenly started speaking the > symbol in my messages again for no apparent reason. I haven't changed anything in the Dictionary Manager or Configuration Manager. It seems as if the Dictionary Manager for OE has just stopped working. Any ideas on how I can fix this problem and once again suppress those > symbols without having to resort to a utility like Email Stripper? Thanks. Gerald
