These are the instructions that I followed in the past.

Put the jaws folder from your root directory on the CD.
Then create an autorun.inf file in notepad or some similar text editor.
The autorun.inf file has two lines:

[autorun]
open=Jaws50\jfw.exe

Note the brackets around autorun. Change Jaws50 to your version of Jaws.
So you have two things on the CD.
The jaws50 folder. And the autorun.inf file.

I made a portable JAWS for jaws 50, but I wasn't sure how well that version would work with the newer computers.

As for why, so I would not have to install the jaws program on each computer I tried. With the portable jaws, I just slip the cd in the disk drive and the program ran from the disk. It worked! But now the jaws folder is no longer on the root directory, and it seems to be set up in a new configuration. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to put the 6.0 version on disk.
