Dear Friends,

When using JAWS9 & Office 2003, if I press CTRL+N in an open Word file, the new Word file title advances by 2 digits instead of 1. For ex. If the open Word file is Document 1 & I press CTRL+N, Document 3 will open & there is no sign of Document 2. This problem does not happen when using JAWS 7 on the same computer. If I press CTRL+N in Document 1 when using JAWS 7, Document 2 will open.

Has anybody else noticed such a peculiar behaviour with JAWS 9 & if so, were they able to find a solution to this number-skipping?
