Panda Antivirus Platinum?

Hi All, Does anyone have experience with Panda Antivirus Platinum?
I am getting a new computer and this program is part of the mother board.
I am currently using Norton's and it has performed as advertised and I have
no complaints with it.
Can a system have more than one antivirus program active at the same time?
Suggestions and thoughts welcome.
