Maybe you can try internet explorer and see if you have the same issue you
can then try reinstalling fire fox and see if that will fix it

Hi All,
Sorry, but I needed to put an addendum on my previous message. Turns out
that if I go into the address bar using either control l or alt d, I can no
longer select the text in there now, either. Ugh-oh. So now I'm even more
confused. LOL
