There are some applications where jaws doesn't get focus. I have a firewall
program wher insert+tab will let me know I'm on a button but the jaws can't get
focus in this window to give any pertenant information.

hello all!
I am using jaws 50 with windows 2000 in my office. while working in jaws
cursor jaws speaks only say line command i.e. jawskey + up-arrow but when i
press up or down arrow keys or left right arrow keys it speaks "blank"
i uninstalled video intercept manager and reinstalled it but it could not
solve my problem. i converted my display settings from 32 bit to 256 colours,
it also could not solve this.
