Hi Peter,

I remembered we had some overheat issues with some of the DELL computers we
deploy around here and I asked on of our hardware teckies if he remembered
anything about the solution.  He said that DELL directed him to be sure the
BIOS was upgraded to a certain level.  Apparently the temperature sensor and
fan-speed control can be controlled at the BIOS level.  He recommended
touching base with DELL support to see what they have to offer.
