That's the problem, it's not saying it at all.
I've tried everything I could think of, and it's not announcing it.

Tab until you hear address book and as it reads it it should announce
how
many addresses you have, if you miss it the first time press insert plus
the
tab key and it will announce it again. Hope this helps.
