I checked carefully, and the only option in Outlook Express which deals with Windows Messenger is: Automatically log onto Windows Messenger check box not checked. On the general tab, you should find a checkbox for msn messenger loading. Uncheck that. It will say something to the effect of run msn messenger when outlook express starts. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bill White To: jfw mailing list Sent: Thursday, March 24, 2011 10:14 PM Subject: Outlook Express and Windows Messenger I have a problem with Outlook Express on one of my computers. When I am in Outlook Express, there is an item which shows up about me not being signed into Windows Messenger. It also shows up in the Outlook Express options. It doesn't show up on the other computer, even though I am running the same software on both computers. I do not have Windows Messenger installed, and it doesn't show up in the control panel under add or remove programs. How do I get Windows Messenger disassociated with my Outlook Express again. Thank you.
