Outlook 2007 Message List and FAWS 10

Is there a way I can stop JAWS 10 from omitting information in the message
list? When I arrow through, all that is read to me is the person's name;
one word of the subject followed by . and part of the date.
I've tried customizing the view in Outlook with no appreciable results.
I would appreciate any help or suggestions for fixing this problem.
