This is stupid. I do not for a single moment doubt what you are saying so
don't take me wrong. (LOLLOLLOL)

Yesterday for whatever reason when I went to "view" I got some crap I have
never in my lifetime seen.

I had to shut down Outlook and restart it.

Why don't you give me a call at:

And we can talk this thing through.

If anyone else would like to give me a shot feel free to do so.

Since I'm getting no response from Cathy, where are you finding these
checkboxes or lists? They don't appear to be in my copy of Outlook 2007.

When I unchecked Unread Messages, the checkmark appeared before Messages.

That's when my Outlook went haywire.

The unread message option isn't a toggle. It's a choice of several. To
disable unread messages, enable another option, like messages by pressing
ENTER on the option.
