RE: Outlook 2003 Questions with JFW

It really sounds like you have outlook express and not outlook (outlook
does not have a section labeled "local folders").
You can check this by going into the help menu, and choosing the "about"
choice, and reading the information on the about dialog. If you see
"outlook express" there, then you don't have calendaring, contacts,
tasks, notes, journals, etc. because that's not Outlook.
You *could* have outlook somewhere on your pc, but what you're doing in
that case isn't starting up outlook, but starting up outlook express.
It's possible to have them both on your pc at once. If you think you
do, then you'll have to look for another menu entry to start up outlook
and not outlook express.
