Mike, ALT-TAB will take you through all open windows.CONTROL-F6 will move you between all open Word documents. Of course, you must be in an open Word documents in the first place. The main advantage is that you may not have to tab through all other open applications in order to find the document that you want as you may have to do with ALT-TAB.

Hi Gene, You can switch back and forth between documents or windows using alt + tab but,not control + tab. Hope this helps. Take care. Mike----- Original Message ----- From: GeneTo: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, October 17, 2008 5:18 PM Subject: Opening more than one document in MsWord I am probably off topic, but, I'll ask my question anyway. In earlier versions of MsWord, I thought more than one document could be opened at a time and the user could switch between documents by using CTRL+Tab. Well, I don't know if that was an MsWord function or a JAWS function, but, it doesn't seem to work with JAWS 9 and MsWord 2003. Wouldsomeone mind refreshing my memory? Don't hesitate to answer off list if I'vegone out-of-bounds. Thanks in advance for your help.
