ABBYY FineReader is also an OCR software itself, Like the Nuance OmnyPage.

If a blind user have a screen reader installed and have some computing experiences, (in other word, doesn't need another "talking OCR" software), and also know how should work with partially accessible softwares, it will be better to use FineReader to get a better results. Fortunately, ABBYY provides a trial version of FineReader. You can download and try it yourself. When comparing to Nuance OmnyPage, this is an important part of making decision about buying because Nuance doesn't provide a trial version. Just my opinion.
