Try going into the properties menu, and click the change file associations button. Select open with Excel, and see if the file extension opens with Excel after that.

Subject: Office 2010

I know this is Off Topic, but I will try.

I just started using Office 2010 and everything is working except for
EXCELL. I am using Windows 7 64 Bit. The problem is:

I create a spreadsheet and save it, when I try to open it later it uses
Microsoft Picture Viewer not EXCEL. The file extension is correct. Any
suggestions?

Thanks John
