Hi Bruce,

I for one never knew that there are keystrokes to generate symbols. Would
you please tell me & others where we can find a list of these keystrokes?
Yours or or the help from anyone else with this matter will be greatly
appreciated. Thanks much, take care.

Mike

Insert+numrow 4 brings up a list of some common special symbols. This
list is by no means exhaustive, and if one wishes to use these symbols
on some kind of a regular basis, one would do well to learn the
keystrokes within Word to generate them. As one example,
control+apostrophe, followed by the letter e, yields an e-acute.
