Yes, other display settings could be a possible solution. I had experiences
with my laptop where I unknowingly used a keystroke that rotated the screen
90 degrees. Had no idea I had done it, and very soon several things would no
longer read with JAWS. Took an IT person to tell me everything was sideways.
Once I learned how to disable screen rotation on my laptop I've never had
that problem to deal with.

Didn't have system access when the problem started. I just grabbed system
access to go to find out if it might be a screen reader issue. The other
things, I have to look into.
