Dave, thanks for the response. I am using Excel 2003, and word 2003. I am
considering moving all of my work files to the home computer which has Ofice
2007 on it. Maybe I should rethink that, given what you're saying here.

  Mike,

If you're talking about JFW 12.0.1158 my main complaint was that Excel 2007
no longer allowed reading of monitor cells and top 4 column cells. They didn't
fix those from the previous revision. I also noticed very erratic behavior in
Excel 2007, such as not reading a cell when I jumped to the end of a range with
Ctrl+arrow keys. Overall it was a mess and a 3-hour process to remove JFW 12
completely and reinstall JFW 12.0.525.

I didn't even take the time to test it out on other applications except that
Outlook 2007 seemed to not have suffered. I just wasn't interested in losing
any more productivity time. Excel is my most important tool.

My comment to FS support was that I felt they indeed did make some
significant changes to Excel, but I felt that I was not at all impressed with
those changes.

I've not bothered trying to install JFW 12.0.1158 since.

Hi folks. I've heard complaints about the new jaws update. I too had
problems installing it, first off. Secondly, now that I have it up and
running, I have trouble, switching windows. I use MS Word and MS Excel and
have to move back and forth. When I do, jaws pauses for about ten seconds
everytime. Can't use my pc cursor or anything like that. It works after that,
but it's annoying to have to sit and wait. Any suggestions?
