New yahoo messenger questions.

Hello all. I have been off the list for a little while, cause I had to
go out of town. I am back, and as I hate to do this, I am back with a
question. I just made the mistake of downloading the latest version of
yahoo messenger, and it is not really that accessible. I am finding
that when reading the message windows, that there is a lot of garbage in
the window that wasn't there before. There are a few other problems,
and I just wanted to see if anyone else was having the same problems.
I'd welcome any help or suggestions.
