Try Internet explorer without Ad-ons. This might resolve the issue.

1. Open "start menu".
2. Go to "All Programs".
3. Right arrow on "Accessories".
4. Open "System Tools".
5. Arrow down to "Internet Explorer (No Ad-ons)" and hit enter.

Hope this works.
