I managed to finally get it from the website, since it unfortunately gave me an error message after downloading it, saying it couldn't finish the install process b/c of some files being changed or something. But, it's up and running beautifully now. ----- Original Message ----- From: Brandon B To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, March 12, 2009 2:49 PM Subject: Re: New JAWS Update Now Released I got it through the check for updates feature, so it's available. I poked around looking for the repair feature without success. Could someone advise how to run a repair on JAWS 10 please before I do an install anew from the CD. I honestly don't know the answer to that one, as I am already updated. But if you try the automatic update and it works, then the answer is yes, you can get it that way, but if you can't get it that way, absolutely no harm will have been done, except that you wasted somewhere between twenty and forty seconds of your life. <GRIN> Again, that was not meant to be a wisecracking answer, I honestly don't know if the auto-update will work for this release. I would suggest, though, regardless, that the information on what is new and what is fixed in this update should be required reading for anyone wishing to update: at least skim through it to see what is relevant to you.
