Same here, didn't realize your other installations of IE remembered forms from a long while ago, I.E. from your last visit to the page. Take care. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christopher Hallsworth" <chrishallsworth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

You're very welcome, and I'm glad that you've managed to get it all
working.

Hi everyone,

I thought I would let you all know what my problem was on my searches in
Google. first both Sean and Christopher mentioned something about forms.
so
I thought about what kind of settings I would have for forms. I also
thought
about what , if any settings had to be made to use Google. So I did a
search
in Google for Frequently asked questions. On the result page I went into
the
first result, Google General FAQ, and arrowed down to, How do I stop my
previous searches from appearing when I type in a new search term?
I was thinking this has something to do with forms and the way they work.
Here is what it said.
Fortunately (and unfortunately), this has nothing to do with Google. It's
a
feature of Internet Explorer 5.0, which is possible to disable using its
menu.
(You can verify this by going elsewhere on the web to fill out a form and
then return to that same page on which you filled out the form.)

To disable this feature on Internet Explorer 5.0, go to the Tools menu;
select Internet Options; select the Content tab. Within the Personal
Information
area, select AutoComplete. Click on Clear Forms. You can also uncheck the
Forms box in this same window to keep this from occurring in the future.
I think you all know where I'm going with this. yup, The form check box
was
not checked.

Thanks Sean and Christopher for pointing me in the right direction.

take care all,

Roger Bachelder
