Hi, I just tried to sign in to my MySpace account, and it has one of those "please type the image shown below" boxes. Does anyone know if there is anyway I can get around this.
Hi Dustin. Yes, if you get the free Mozilla Firefox web browser and use it instead of Internet Explorer
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ , and then an add-on for it called Webvisum www.webvisum.comDon't be afraid to change browsers. FireFox is quite accessible, and i find once Webvisum is added in, it's even more accessible than Internet Explorer. All your JFW keys to jump to headings, edit fields, etc. still apply. The cool part is that WebVisum can solve captchas for you! When you're on a page with one of those images of characters you are supposed to type, just bring up the context menu and press Enter on the option that says "submit captcha". In about 30 seconds, Webvisum will report that the captcha result is on your clipboard and then read the text string. Get into the edit field and just do a control+v to paste the captcha solution. It's that easy!
