Ok Ok Ok! So the thread got a little out of hand! Good god! And who died
from
it?
Sometimes these things happen. Sorry that we weren't falling all over you with
gratitude Chris. But if you'll remember, your first post on the topic was
wrong. That's why so many people said that it didn't work. You Said that the
word was spelled with an S, not a C. And that reversing the vowels A andE
would
cause the crash. So, in all fairness, your first post was flat out wrong.
This is what helped start all of the conversation. Jack

Yep Joy, your intentions were good, but i think the warning was just poorly
executed. I sent a message about this yesterday actually, which for reasons
still unknown to me, caused a rather large amount of e-mails from people
hypothesizing about wether or not it worked for them or not, why it wasn't
working, etc, etc, etc...on and on ad nausium.
My message was meant as a heads up to warn people that it may happen to
you, here is how to avoid it. it's just so sad that a simple warning got so
many people including the list owner angry. Next time something like this
happens i'm seriously going to reconsider warning people if this is how
people will act.
and now that James has spoken as to why he would rather have us report
this stuff to fs, let's just do it and end this, please? If I had known
this was the stance he would take, and if I didn't think it effected so
many people, after all this is the JAWS discussion list, the problem or bug
effects JAWS users so naturally you would think...ah, crap. You guys get
the point.
Let's just move on.
