A few questions:
1. Once you invoke the script manager, how do you turn it off?
2. When I invoked the script manager, all I got was, "Some characters, all

Only a small correction. You used scripts while composing this message. If you do an insert zero, you'll get the Jaws script manager and if you down arrow, you'll read some of the script commands for Outlook Express or Outlook.
Certain programs have been scripted by the folks at Freedom Scientific.
You can find those programs under "popular applications with Jaws" in
the Jaws help menu. When scripts are mentioned on this list and on web
sites such as JFWLite, those are additional ones that have been created
by smart individuals.

To be honest, I have not used scripts that often but I guess the best explanation would be that they are programns or partial programs created to help Jaws work better with other established programs. Hope that helps at least a little. Take care.

Some of the music sharing programs I have not found that Jaws compatible. The one I use is Winmx. The only problem I have found with it is tha the results are not all spoken. I have heard that there are scripts available to get around this issue although I have not tried them. Although Jaws does not speak the results, I can sort of cheat with the help of a brasille display. Write me on or off list if you would like to know more. I have had fun downloading music, movies etc.
