Ms excel 03 question

Hi in excel 2003 how do you auto fit the colloms so that everything written in 
them is visible? I know sighted folks just double click on the top of the 
collom e.g. On a, b or c. Thing is if i write something a little to long in a 
cell, jaws doesn't want to read it if i scroll over it, jaws just say text 
obscured in collom, or something like that.
