I did not mean to but had answered this earlier from the wrong subject header. I felt like maybe I was throwing the dice to move my xp wordpad. But I have been fighting my old finger shortcut habits and not yet adjusting to the which way to turn my directions with those ribbons. I found the program in the accessories and just copied the .exe file of wordpad and renamed it to xpwordpad and made a newly named shortcut for it. It seems to work just fine so far.

Those 3-finger commands get me hog tied sometimes. But I was able to do it, and it worked. One thing I might mention that seems inconsistent with JAWS. I got very comfortable habitually reading text by navigating paragraph by paragraph using CTRL + UP or DOWN arrow. Quite often these days it seems that command will not work. That is the case over a wide variety of text formats, it seems. Any ideas on this would be helpful. Thanks. I did so and it totally screwed up my computer trying to use the upgrade. FS is aware of this problem and they said if you want to upgrade use their web site instead of the link in their e mail. I had to reinstall jaws and that fixed the issue.
