Hi, Tom. I have address bar checked. I also have full path turned on in
folder options. F4 and ALT D still don't work. They bring up the address bar,
but there is no path visible.

Thank you.

  Hi,

    Tom,

I tried this, also out of curiosity. Does not work. I get "nothing
selected" even though it announces I'm on the address bar. Neither F4 nor Alt+d
works. They do work in IE but not in Windows Explorer.

Hmmm, interesting. Go into the View tab of Folder Options, check the tree
view and see if "show full path in the address bar" is turned on. If it isn't
press space to turn it on, then click OK. Try it again and see what happens.
When I go into the address bar and do a shift+insert+down arrow to say selected
text, the full path is automatically selected. If I press ctrl+a to make
certain that it is, the system bonks at me.

Is it possible tat I also need to have Windows Explorer appearing as a web
page, and not as "Windows Classic"?

Well, I use My Computer instead of Windows Explorer. Either way I get the
same results. Offhand I can't remember how to turn web view on. I have
"windows classic folders" turned on in the general tab of folder options.
