Thanks, Rick, I'm running XP professional with Jaws 6.2, and I couldn't get
it to do a thing. I could get so far in the setup, but then I couldn't mouse
any further. I would get to the part where it wanted me to pick a time for
the scan. It defaulted to two a.m.; it wouldn't let me change it or any
other settings. Speaking of Adaware, Dean Schmidt has made some wonderful
scripts. You can find them at accessibleprograms.com. You'll want the latest
ones, 1.1; these are the latest, not the 1.0. These scripts are much better
than the ones on jfwlite. As for Spybot, I could use it, but I didn't like
it that well either.

Hi Monica,
Here is what I do:
1. open the application, and then maximize it.
2. route Jaws to PC, and then page up.
3. down arrow until Jaws reads the menu bar,and then place the cursor on
the menu heading I want, and press the left mouse button.
4. now I can arrow thru the menu items with the arrow keys on the inverted
T, and press enter on the one I want.
5. If I am making settings changes, this can be accomplished in the same
manner.
At least on my machine, I have found this application easier to navigate
than spy-bot, and Add-Aware.
HTH,
Ricque

So, can you tell us what you do to make it work? Thanks.

Haven't had any problems with it so far,
using jfw 4.51, and 6.2.
