I'm only throwing my two cents worth in because no one has mentioned CTRL +
M, which is actually the MS Word Indent hotkey and not CTRL + T which is the
hanging indent. There is a difference in how the text of an indented paragraph
prints out on the page versus one that has been assigned a hanging indent
looks. I'll only bore everyone with an the description if it is needed here.
Both of these can be set specific to how you want a paragraph, or selected set
of paragraphs, to look within the Paragraph Dialog. Just for the record, lines
with hard returns between them are paragraphs too.You can get to the Paragraph
Dialog using ALT + O and then P in both MS Word 2003 and MS Word 2007.

Hope this helps someone out there. I confess that I'm not following the
thread all that closely.

centered. hth, Judith

      Subject: Microsoft Word Temporary Indent

      Hi friends,

I am trying to create a temporary indent in Microsoft Word so that I can
put an address on the righthand side of the page.
i used to do this by pressing CTRL+T to tab across to the place that I
want to start then do the address. As I pressed CTRL+T, JAWS would tell me how
far I was going across the page e.g. 1 inch, 2 inches etc but it doesn't seem
to do this any mor and the temporary indent doesn't seem to be moving either.
Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong please?

      Many thanks in anticipation,

      Steve.
