Unless you are an advanced user, you are strongly advised not to
manually uninstall any software, including JAWS, unless you know exactly
what you are doing. Manual uninstallations is not as simple as deleting
the program files; there are shortcuts to delete, as well as
profile-specific and/or shared settings, registry entries, and the like.
So my advice is to maybe download the version of JAWS 8 you have on your
machine, run it, and see what happens. Hope that helps.
