Exactly--and that is why since he said he was still visible after signing out
through MSN, I recommended disabling all the settings from his e--mail client.

Well, there are two programs at work here. In the outlook Express, there is
a setting for windows messenger to sign in automatically. But MSN has it's
own settings to sign in automatically as well. So, the first thing to figure
out is which of the programs is signing in automatically and then stop that
