The other thing to do is to uncheck the box which says, "allow Windows
Messenger to run in the background. Sincerely Yours,

Subject: MSN problem

Hello there,
I'm having a problem with MSN.
A little while back, I asked how I could get MSN not to always come up
whenever I signed online. I'd like to manually sign in and out, because I
don't always want to be available to the folks on my list if I'm online.
Well, I went to MSN, went to the tools menu, and went to the options. I
unchecked the box that asked if I wanted MSN to run when Windows runs, and
it still must run because people still know when I'm on and offline.
Am I doing something wrong or do I need to do something else?
Jim
