Thanks for the help. Things seem to have cleared up when I turned off the
Norton Antivirus plug in (or whatever it's called).

How's your RAM? Word is a memory hog and we've seen inadequate RAM cause
lots of weird things in that program.

Hi,

I am running JFW 7.0 and recently installed Office 2003 and am having
significant problems with Word.

1. When I have two documents open I have difficulty getting Jaws to read
correctly when switching between documents. Jaws reads the first document
even when the second document is in the window that has focus. Jaws reads
the second document if I minimize the window and then return to it or if I
go through the view, zoom, and zoom to page width in the menus. I have
already verified that zoom was set to "page width" and that the document is
maxmized.

2. After working for a while it starts to take a long time to switch
between windows.

3. When closing documents or exiting Word I sometimes get a Visual C++
runtime error.

Thanks for your help.

Ralph
