?Dave:

How about pressing insert plus shift and V. That will make the changes
permanent on the set website.

Mitch,

"...toggle but if I wanted to make a permanent adjustment to a web site, how
would I accomplish this?"

JAWS 11 or earlier, Insert+6 to open Configuration Manager, Alt-s and arrow to
html settings. One of those pages will have a checkbox.

JAWS 12 Insert+6 to open the Settings Center. Type flash and tab. You can
uncheck the item right there, tab a couple more times and press OK.

Hi, I'm using JAWS 12 with XP and the current Internet Explorer and I have
been experimenting with both Flash and Forms modes on certain web sites.
It seems navigation is more responsive on the sites in question with these
two attributes turned off. I can control this with Insert V and the
appropriate toggle but if I wanted to make a permanent adjustment to a web
site, how would I accomplish this?
Also, what might I miss on a site if Flash is disabled?
  Lastly, does youtube use Flash?
You would be amazed at what I do not know ... or maybe not. :-) Thanks,
Mitch
