I simply think they want a demo to be sure it will work adequately for me,
before they buy it.
The tech did some documents with version 16, and they came out quite well,
so I have every reason to believe that 17 will be as good if not better.
Again, I think they just want to be sure before they spend the bucks.

AFIK, there is no demo of this software.
Can I please ask why they need a demo?
Omnipage comes from Nunace and is very stable and IMO a great product
and it does the scanning job extremely well.
