did that. My problem is now I see things like this:
Conversation: addition to message footer (1 item)
But I can't actually view the items.

What folder do the Jaws messages land in? If you got them set to land in a
separate folder, the steps I gave do the trick. Just put yourself in the
list display of the messages just as if you were gonna go through them and
read them and do your alt+v, right arrow into the current view submenu, then
down arrow to "by conversation topic." Hit enter and you'll see the
difference.

Hello,

I'm kind of going to change the topic for this thread, but you mentioned you
could set the view to sort by conversation. This would be great if I could
set this up in Outlook 2000, because I could figure out whether a question
had already been answered.
How could I do this in Outlook 2000, but to only the folder where I receive
the JAWS List messages?

here here. I do the same thing with rare exceptions. With all the viruses
and the like going around and with the volume of messages that this list
puts out, I have my outlook 2k sort the messages by conversation topic in
the inbox. (alt+v while in the inbox listbox then right arrow to open
submenu, down arrow to conversation topic and hit enter.) Anyway, it works
great for sorting out the stuff I don't wanna read like that huge citrix
thread a few months back and get to the stuff I want. Very easy to do w/
jaws & a Braille display. If there's no subject, it gets deleted. my $0.02
(2cents).

This is only my personal perspective, but when I see a message without a
subject line I ignore it -- that is, I delete it without reading it.

This isn't exclusive to the JFW List, I make this a policy with all email
messages unless that message is from one of two old friends. The point is,
if you want everybody to read your post to the JFW List adding a subject is
just a good idea.
