Links Don't Always Read

I have a friend who is using Jaws 4.5 with windows 98 and she is having trouble
with jaws reading the links on a page. The links also do not show up if she
uses insert f7. It all of a sudden quit working so can anyone tell me if there
is a setting in jaws to correct this. Thank you. She already did a repair on
jaws and things did not change.
